A few people will buy a time-lapse system.
Some people to prefer to buy a time-lapse system. Mostly we sell to other production companies who will rent them to their customers. They know that there is simply no better system out there for what they need. Occasionally if it is a very long project and the client is confident and reasonably technically sophisticated then we’ll sell our systems. Before we sell you anything we take time to understand your needs and we’ll build you a bespoke system designed perfectly to meet your requirements.
Firstly, the camera. What one is best you? 9MP or 20MP? 4K or 8K? Optical zoom? What is the deliverable? Monitoring or marketing? Or both? Video or print?
Next. How are you going to mount the camera? Is it indoor or outdoor? Do you need a mast? How are we going to deal with cable management? What type of enclosure do you need for the comms unit? It will vary a lot depending on the type of power.
OK. Now we need to consider power. Is there mains power? Or are we going for a battery? Do we use an inverter? Or convert the power supplies? If we are going with a battery, do we need solar? Or wind? All possible but they add levels of complexity.
Storage. Are we storing the images in the Cloud? Or locally? Or both? If we are going to Cloud, how do we do that? 4G? Cabled Connection? WiFi? If you are storing locally, you’ll need a NAS drive. Probably. But maybe not. Depends on your system.
Then it all needs to be built and configured. No problem. We just need to understand your needs.
